AFRA Leadership

AFRA Board of Directors

The AFRA Board of Directors oversees the management of the Association and develops its long-term financial and strategic plans. Directors dedicate considerable personal time to ensure the success of the Association and are required to represent an organization that is a Regular Member in good standing.

The leadership of AFRA is dedicated to positively influencing the environment, economy, +and society via the association’s initiatives. They are passionate about creating a circular economy for aviation, aiming to reuse, recycle, or recover aircraft materials and components instead of relegating them to landfills. Their commitment extends to upholding the safety, quality, and efficiency of the aircraft recycling process and promoting innovation and cooperation in the industry.

AFRA Board of Directors

The AFRA Board of Directors is composed of nine (9) elected members serving three-year terms and up to four (4) appointed members serving one-year terms, with the possibility of serving up to six (6) consecutive terms. The board holds in-person meetings at least twice a year, supplemented by regular conference calls. As a volunteer board, the directors dedicate a significant portion of their personal time to the association’s success.
