(Washington, D.C. August 18, 2021) –The Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association recently held its 2021 board elections.
The Board of Directors has ratified the election results and announces the following:
- Brent Webb, CAVU Aerospace, was reelected
- Sean Newsum, Boeing, was elected
- Manuel Lopez Aguilar, Jet Aircraft Services, was elected
- Fabian Nagel, Lufthansa Technik AG, was appointed to fill the position of existing appointed board member, Fabricio La Banca, Lufthansa Technik AG
AFRA would like to thank Fabricio La Banca for his years of service to AFRA and wish him the best on his future endeavors. Sam O’Connor, AFRA Interim Executive Director, commented, “The election results and new appointment has strengthened the leadership of AFRA and in turn allows the association to continue its important work guiding the industry through the increased disassembly activities and continued commitment to environmental stewardness.”
