Pedro Lama, Aviation International Recycling, S.A.Zaragoza, Spain

Pedro Lama started his aviation career at MAC Aviation as Managing Director. From 2002-2015 he was responsible for Aviation Business in Industrias Lopez Soriano Group, a Spanish group of companies specializing in recycling. In 2015, Pedro became the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Aviation International Recycling S.L.

Pedro feels that in the next coming years, recycling is becoming more important in the aviation industry. It would be a privilege to be a part of the AFRA Board of Directors to help improve the recycling processes in aircraft. To date, there is a lack of legislation, and we are sure we can contribute to establish better processes to try to value as much material as possible. We think it is necessary to establish regulation to homogenize the process in Europe.
